Privacy Policy

Last updated: 04/09/2023

HackBlog (hereinafter referred to as “I”, “my blog,” or “my site”) recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains my approach to your data and information that may come into contact with me when you visit my blog.

1. Information Collected and Its Use

My blog does not collect any personal information about you. No pages will request information such as your name, email address, contact details, or any other data that could personally identify you.

Inevitably, due to how the Internet works, when you connect to my site, your device must send some information such as your IP address and the type of browser you are using. It may also send additional data such as your language, screen size, information about your device, and other preferences. HackBlog uses this data only for the time necessary to provide you with the requested content but does not store, analyze, or use any of this data for other purposes. The only information retained is an anonymous counter of how many people visit a particular page for the sole purpose of obtaining statistics on various articles. You will understand that in no way can this counter be associated with your personal information. In other words, HackBlog will know how many people have viewed a particular page but will not have any other information. It will have nothing that allows it to trace back to a specific user, their activities, or any of their personal information.

2. Sharing of Information

Since HackBlog does not collect personal information, I have no data to share with third parties.

3. Cookies

For managing different languages, HackBlog uses an anonymous cookie that stores the user’s preference. For example, if you choose to read my articles in Italian, a cookie containing the string “it” will be assigned to you; otherwise, for English, it will contain the string “en”. It is a technical cookie that allows you to navigate the site without specifying the language each time you reload the page. This information will be stored on your device and your browser will send it to the site each time. Therefore, the site does not even store your language preference. HackBlog does not use any other type of cookies, especially no tracking cookies or similar technologies.

4. Links to External Sites

My blog may contain links to external websites or third-party resources. These websites have their own privacy policies that I encourage you to review when visiting them. I am not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites.

5. How Do I Earn?

This is the question that may come to mind after realizing that I do not store or sell any type of data. As you have seen, there is currently no advertising on the site either. The answer is simple: I do not earn. Currently, the blog is supported solely by my own financial resources.

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy

HackBlog reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. I will inform you by posting any changes to the policy on this page which will always remain up to date.
